Rio Hostel Buritaca is located 20 minutes from tayrona park, near Colombia's coastal beaches and Alongside the Buritaca river.

how to get here:

FROM SANTA MARTA: 1 hour 30 minutes (Best Option)

• Take the Cootransoriente bus departing from either the Mercado Público (Public Market) or the bus stop at Mamatoco.

• Get off at the moto-taxi stand right AFTER crossing the Buritaca River bridge.

• Walk or take a moto-taxi to the hostel.
  
  NOTE: We can also organise transportation to and from Santa Marta and the airport via taxi

FROM RIOHACHA: 1 hour 50 minutes

• Take a taxi to the Bus Terminal or the main highway (Vía Principal).

• Catch any bus heading toward Santa Marta and ask to get off at the entrance of Palomino (approx. $25,000 COP).

• In Palomino, hop on the bus heading toward Parque Tayrona/Santa Marta (approx. $6,000 COP).

• Get off at the moto-taxi stand right BEFORE crossing the Buritaca River bridge.

• Walk or take a moto-taxi to the hostel.
